Fuel yourself with this healthy Quinoa Porridge breakfast Bowl loaded with enough carbs to get you through the day.
Soak the quinoa in water for one hour. Wash well and drain. Bring this to cook in a pot with 1 cup water.
Once the quinoa is cooked, add the milk and simmer for another 3-4 minutes.
While the quinoa is cooking, cut the apple in half and de-seed. Slice it thinly.
Heat ghee in a heavy pan and allow the apple slices to caramelize on a slow flame for 10 minutes.
Sweeten the porridge with honey.
Divide between two bowls.
Top with caramelized apples, chia seeds and cinnamon powder.
